Jun 13 2009	MEAF Celebrating Refugee Week Midlands Ethnic Albanian Foundation will be joining with many other communities in celebrating Refugee Week. Shqipet e Lira (Free Eagles) an Albanian band of musicians will be performing live at this event. MEAF staff and Volunteers will be organising a stall with information and materials about MEAF Charity activities in the West Midlands. Mar 12 2008	Play Albanian-born academic and playwright, Dr Alpion, is an expert in the media representation of asylum seekers at the University of Birmingham’s School of Social Sciences. The production is the result of a collaborative project between academics and artists from Britain and from across Eastern Europe (Croatia, Serbia and Albania) who are all connected to universities across the UK.
